Prayer times look different

Check your saved city, full date, time zone, method, Asr rule and adjustments. Different methods can produce different Fajr and Isha times. Sunrise is auxiliary information. Follow your local religious guidance when choosing calculation and calendar rules.

Using the compass

Open Qibla for live direction. Location and heading stop when you leave or background the app. Move away from magnetic accessories and metal; follow calibration guidance. Low accuracy hides the moving arrow. The numeric bearing is measured from true north, not relative to your phone.

Change the theme using the palette button on Qibla. The optional alignment tap is in Settings. Any rotation demo is labelled simulation and does not verify the live sensor.

Reminders and wake-up

Check both the saved feature switch and the corresponding system permission. Prayer and fasting notifications have separate switches. Fajr wake-up has its own alarm status and requires iOS/iPadOS 26+. Notification permission alone does not grant alarm permission. System settings and Focus can affect ordinary notifications.

Schedules cover a finite future period. Open the app regularly, especially after travel or changes to permissions. A successful save is not an indefinite delivery guarantee.

Widgets and offline use

Use Settings → Widget guide for installation instructions and saved-plan checks. The system controls refresh and may delay it. The guide does not confirm that a Widget is installed or refreshed.

Help text and license notices are bundled. Manual cities and saved prayer calculations do not require location access; additional Apple city lookups may need a network connection.

Before you write

Start with the app version, system version, affected feature and full date/time. Share a city, time zone or method only if comfortable doing so. Do not send precise coordinates or private files by default.
